“For another consecutive year, the Municipality of the City of Dobrich is organizing the ‘Martenitsi 2026’ bazaar.”

We are pleased to invite the residents and visitors of the city to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the event, which aims to preserve and promote Bulgarian folk customs and traditions.

During the bazaar, a wide variety of martenitsi will be presented, crafted with great care and creativity.

The exhibition will begin on 9 February 2026 and will continue until 3 March 2026, inclusive.

The bazaar will be organized at a new location along 25 Septemvri Blvd. (pedestrian zone), as well as on Hristo Botev Street and Stariya Oreh Square.

Applications for participation will be accepted from 23 January 2026 to 28 January 2026, inclusive.

Information for participants in the Martenitsi Bazaar 2025

The permitted range of goods includes martenitsi, greeting cards, and flags.

Based on the submitted applications, the stalls according to the bazaar layout will be allocated by a lottery draw, which will take place on 30 January 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Large Conference Hall of the Municipality of the City of Dobrich.
