The Mayor of Dobrich, Yordan Yordanov, the Deputy Mayor, Pavel Pavlov, the Chairman of the Municipal Council, Krasimir Nikolov, and the Chairman of the Municipal Council Committee “Sport and Youth Activities,” Yordan Ivanov, awarded the best athletes of 2025.
Athlete No. 1 for this year is the world kickboxing champion Diyan Dimitrov. The talented athlete is the men’s champion in the up to 67 kg category at the World Cup in Hungary, a world champion from Abu Dhabi, and a holder of the European Cup.

Among the athletes with disabilities, awarded by the Chairman of the Municipal Council Krasimir Nikolov, first place went to Kameliya Dobreva from club “Hishnik,” followed by Zahari Stoyanov and Nikolay Vasilev.
The best team of Dobrich for 2025, awarded by the Chairman of the Committee “Sport and Youth Activities,” Yordan Ivanov, is Gymnastics Club “Aleksiya,” winners of prestigious national, European, and world titles. They are followed by Athletics Club “Dobrudzha” and Karate Club “Samurai” – women.
Ana Dobreva was chosen as the Best Young Hope for 2025. Ana trains at Boxing Club “Boris Georgiev – Mokata.” She is followed by Mirela Mincheva from Athletics Club “Dobrudzha” and Elif Fikret from Karate Club “Dobrudzha.” They were awarded by Deputy Mayor Pavel Pavlov.
The Special Award of the Committee “Sport and Youth Activities” was presented to Galin Kostadinov.
