The Municipality of Dobrich showcased the progress of activities carried out within the project “Major Renovation and Modernization of the Home for the Elderly.”
At a press conference held today, the activities under the project for the major renovation and modernization of the Home for the Elderly – Dobrich were presented. To date, a large part of the construction and installation works have been completed: the exterior works of the building have been finalized, the planned window and door frames have been replaced, and work is currently underway on the heating, electrical, and water supply and sewage systems. The sanitary facilities and rooms are also being renovated.
The aim of the project is to improve the living environment of elderly people, enhance the indoor microclimate, and help them feel fulfilled and valued.
The planned modernization activities, the introduction of energy efficiency measures, and the construction of an accessible architectural environment will lead to the achievement of the following results:

A renovated and modernized Home for the Elderly – Dobrich;

An accessible environment created within the facility, with appropriate architectural and social-living conditions, ensuring access and inclusion for persons with disabilities;

Conditions created for equal access to the premises and services provided by the home;

Modern and safe working conditions established for the staff of the Home for the Elderly.
Upon completion of the project, the home will increase its attractiveness. The modern and energy-efficient material base will ensure healthy and high-quality living conditions and better care for elderly residents.
