MUNICIPALITY OF THE CITY OF DOBRICH
ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE BEST HOMEMADE WINE
2025 VINTAGE
Rules for Participation

The competition is open to producers from the Municipality of the City of Dobrich.

Producers may participate only with wines of their own production – 2025 vintage.

The competition categories are:

A / Red wines
-
B / White wines
-
C / Rosé wines
-

Producers may participate in more than one category.

Artificially flavored wines are not eligible for participation.

Participants must submit a sample of each wine entered in the competition.

The samples must be clear.

Each sample must be submitted in one standard 0.750 ml glass bottle, without a label.

Wine samples will be collected until 9 February, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at UNO Pizzeria,
3 Bulgaria Street.

The wines will be evaluated by a tasting committee, in accordance with the Regulations on the Structure and Activities of Tasting Committees issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

First, Second, and Third prizes will be awarded in each category.
Awarded participants will receive a certificate and a material prize. -
The winners will be announced on 14 February 2026.
The competition will take place on 10 February 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at UNO Pizzeria, 3 Bulgaria Street, and will be open to journalists and participants.
Questions to the jury may be asked after the competition concludes.
