On December 17, 2025, the Christmas celebration of foster families from the Dobrich Region took place. The event was attended by 30 foster parents and 33 children of different ages. The older children had fun in the children’s corner of the restaurant, where Santa Claus delighted each child with a gift appropriate to their age.
The foster parents received a symbolic gift from the Municipality of the City of Dobrich—a mini Christmas tree. With this gesture, the Municipality expressed its respect for the people who have dedicated themselves to the mission of being foster parents and raising children who, for various reasons, cannot live with their biological parents.
During the celebration, the foster parents supported a charitable cause and donated the amount of 400 BGN to a young family with a five-month-old baby from Dobrich. With the funds, baby food, clothes, diapers, and other essential items for the child were purchased and donated.
