Management Policy of the Municipality of Dobrich

The leadership of the Municipality of Dobrich and the Municipal Council of Dobrich declare their Quality and Environmental Management Policy, which is an integral part of the overall POLICY for the development of the Municipality.

The Management Policy of the Municipality of Dobrich is aimed at:

  • ensuring high efficiency of governance;

  • providing high-quality and welcoming administrative services;

  • building and maintaining modern infrastructure;

  • maintaining and improving environmental cleanliness and the richness of nature;

  • creating the necessary conditions for growing economic, educational, social, and cultural prosperity in line with the needs and expectations of the local community and all stakeholders.

To implement this Management Policy, the leadership of the Municipality of Dobrich and the Municipal Council of Dobrich focus their efforts in the following directions:

  • Continuous improvement of the administrative process to ensure adequacy, expediency, accountability, equality, reliability, competence, commitment to quality, and professional ethics in administrative service delivery, in line with the requirements and expectations of our clients;

  • Maintaining and increasing the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and the dynamic working environment of Bulgarian municipalities;

  • Effective use of all opportunities to enhance the investment attractiveness of the Municipality of Dobrich;

  • Continuous improvement of information technologies, software, and hardware in order to optimize processes, develop e-government, and provide integrated administrative services;

  • Attracting additional resources through national and international programmes and funds, and uniting the efforts of all stakeholders to ensure the economic, educational, social, and cultural prosperity of the Municipality of Dobrich;

  • Effective application of the legally granted powers for environmental protection and improvement;

  • Undertaking effective actions to minimize and prevent environmental pollution; periodic review and assessment of the impact of activities on the environment and setting relevant objectives;

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to the management of the Municipality’s environmental aspects.

The leadership of the Municipality of Dobrich and the Municipal Council of Dobrich recognize their obligation and responsibility to provide the necessary conditions for strict compliance with the requirements of the Integrated Management System.
